Job Summary
Essex North Shore is seeking a School Adjustment Counselor.
Satisfactory CORI SORI andSAFIS.
MA DESE licensure required.
Bilingual preferred.
LICSW preferred.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities (Not Limited To):
Help students resolve such personal emotional and social problems that impede learning.
Provide case management and crisis intervention for students in need.
Provide services to students as outlined in individual education plan (IEPs) or 504 plans.
Collaborate with staff members on developing interventions for students in need.
Support the development of programs and activities that promote student engagement and a positive school climate.
Complete all required paperwork in accordance with district/school policies and federal and state law.
Consistent reliable and punctual attendance is essential for supervision and instruction of the students.
Responsible for implementing other job-related duties as needed and directed by the Director of School Counseling and Admissions.
