Department Overview

Digital evidence can be one of the most valuable tools when investigating and prosecuting cases. But the extreme volume variety and velocity of data has made digital evidence management more complex than ever. Its time to revolutionize digital evidence management.

The Evidence Software department in Motorola Solutions is the leading provider of Digital Asset and Evidence Management Solution.
The team is responsible for end-to-end software development including: design implementation testing delivery and maintenance. We work in a well balanced scrum team with a full range of software development experience and local Product Owner. We embrace the DevOps culture and Continuous Delivery approach.


Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Engineering Manager to spearhead the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge Digital Asset and Evidence Management this role you will lead a high-performing Scrum team driving innovation and excellence across the entire product lifecycle including development testing deployment support and seamless integration with other systems.

As a proactive and independent leader you will ensure the delivery of robust high-quality solutions while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement within the team. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact shaping the future of a critical product that drives efficiency and innovation.


Basic Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in building and managing engineering scrum/agile teams
  • Practical experience in developing moderate size software systems

  • Very good understanding of the software development lifecycle (cloud software)

  • English language skills at level allowing efficient communication

  • Problem solver - able to work under minimal supervision

  • An experience in managing the end to end software lifecycle

Would be a plus:

  • Experience with developing applications using public cloud (Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure)

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Math or related fields
