Job Summary

Pay: $40 per hour

Qualifications & Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid Texas Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with:

Passenger (P) endorsement
School Bus (S) endorsement (if required by route/event)

Current DOT physical and medical certification
Clean driving record with no major violations
Ability to pass:

Criminal background check
Drug and alcohol screening

Previous school bus or commercial driving experience preferred
Knowledge of and compliance with Texas school transportation safety regulations
Ability to maintain a safe orderly and student-friendly environment
Reliable and punctual with flexible availability (evenings weekends and occasional overnight trips)
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with students staff and parents
Commitment to student safety at all times

Responsibilities Include:

Safely transporting students to and from sports events and field trips
Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Following all district policies and safety procedures
Maintaining proper documentation and logs
