Job Title: Midwife

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Midwife to join our healthcare team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients monitoring their condition administering medications and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills a passion for patient care and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Antenatal & Postnatal Care: Conduct routine check-ups provide health education and support to women and their families.

• Labour & Birth Support: Assist during labour and delivery ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.

• Emotional & Physical Support: Offer continuous care and support throughout the birthing process.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Requirements:

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active registration with NMC

• Must have eligibility to work in UK

• Triage training and certification (preferred but not mandatory).

• Mandatory training including but not exclusive to Current Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification(desirable) Safety Intervention training(formerly MAPA can be supplied by Direct Medics)

• Garda Vetting (cost covered by Direct Medics)

• Minimum 12 months post-registration experience
  

• Experience in high-acuity environments and familiarity with Irish or UK healthcare systems (HSE/NHS or private).
