Job Summary
Are you a creative and talented Design & Technology Teacher seeking an exciting Independent School opportunity A leading Independent School in Derby is recruiting a DT Teacher to join their established DT department from January 2026.
About the Role:
A full-time permanent position teaching DT at KS3KS4 with opportunities to support KS5 depending on experience. You will deliver practical and theory lessons support workshop maintenance and contribute to design projects and enrichment.

We are looking for someone who:
Holds a DT/Engineering-related degree
Holds QTS/PGCE
Can teach DT effectively across KS3KS4
Is innovative practical and well organised
Works collaboratively within a strong DT team
