Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or a related field
High school diploma required (additional education a plus)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with PMs supers ownership and subcontractors
Detaildriven with a proactive problemsolving mindset

What Youll Do

As a Project Engineer you will support the project team through all phases of construction ensuring accuracy organization and proactive communication.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with prebid activities including subcontractor bid reviews quantity takeoffs and scope leveling.
Managing plan check submissions permits and agency coordination while maintaining organized tracking logs.
Conducting detailed job walks reviewing bid documents analyzing site conditions and asking clarifying questions to support project success.
Leading preconstruction document reviews and building comprehensive submittal/MSDS logs; uploading and organizing plans SKs and addenda in Procore.
Reviewing RFIs and submittals for compliance before sending for PM/Client approval; maintaining realtime documentation in Procore.
Supporting project closeout by gathering subcontractor documents assisting with punch lists reviewing site conditions and ensuring accurate turnover packages.
