Job Summary

***Flu vaccine REQUIRED*** ***Start date will be at least 3-4 weeks after valid fingerprint cards are received at SEARHC for processing*** 5 years of Radiology Department Management experience managing a team of techs is REQUIRED. Multimodality preferred but not required. Can be ARDMS ARRT or AMRIT certified in any of these modalities ONLY: MRI CT XR Mammo Ultrasound AB/OB Key Essential Functions and Accountabilities of the JobManagementOversees activities of Radiology radiology studies coming into facility to ensure studies are properly submitted and PAC s training for appropriate with radiology transcription that radiology equipment is appropriately maintained and inspected as required by any regulatory directly with clinic administrators and medical directors to ensure responsible for Radiology equipment and/or maintains Radiology policies and radiation protection monitoring program for all employees exposed to with Finance to maintain the radiology chargemaster as well as to identify areas for improved revenue all quality assurance/control activities are being reports as necessary and responsible for lead apron training and competency of staff who perform radiologic radiology employees timely employee competencies of staff who perform radiologic any radiologic exam that the employee is qualified and competent to perform. Other FunctionsOther duties as assigned. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervisory responsibilities are required. Education Certifications and Licenses RequiredGraduate from an accredited School of RadiologyRegistered Radiological Technologist (ARRT)Registered Mammographer preferredRegistered US Technologist preferredBasic Life Support Experience Required5 years experience in Radiology Management and supervision5 years experience as Radiology TechnologistPACS trainingCT technologist experience preferredMRI technologist experience preferred Knowledge ofFederal state and/or accreditation regulations related to SEARHC radiology imagingMQSA requirements Skills inEffective oral and written communication skills Ability toWork in multiple computer systemsComplete all MQSA requirementsEffectively supervise employees including those not directly supervisedMulti-taskWrite radiology manualsDocument medical information in an organized mannerCreate a strong team environmentLearn new imaging exams as required by radiologists or providers
