Job Summary

Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Jackson MS

Key Responsibilities

Gather analyze and document business requirements from stakeholders
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
Create BRD FRD user stories and process flow diagrams
Conduct gap analysis and impact analysis for new initiatives
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams
Support UAT planning execution and defect resolution
Facilitate stakeholder meetings workshops and requirement review sessions
Ensure solutions align with business objectives and compliance standards
Assist in change management and end-user training activities
Provide ongoing support and documentation post-implementation

Required Skills & Qualifications

5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation
Hands-on experience with:
- BRD FRD Use Cases User Stories
- Process mapping (Visio Lucidchart etc.)
Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
Strong knowledge of SDLC
Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency with tools like JIRA Confluence MS Excel MS Visio
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Domain experience in Healthcare / Government / Finance (if applicable)
Experience with data analysis and reporting
SQL knowledge for data validation and analysis
CBAP CCBA or PMI-PBA certification
Experience working in state or public sector projects

Education

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Systems or related field
