Job Summary

Role: Advanced Database Administrator

Location: Nashville TN

Responsibilities

Design implement and maintain complex database systems
Optimize database performance and scalability
Troubleshoot and resolve database problems
Develop and implement database security best practices
Manage database backups and disaster recovery procedures
Analyze data and be able to offer solutions to correct and consolidate data
Work with developers and other IT professionals to ensure that database systems meet the needs of the business

Qualifications

5 years of experience in database administration
Strong knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle SQL Server or MySQL
Experience with Postgre SQL
Experience with database design performance tuning and security
Experience with database backup and disaster recovery procedures
Experience with cloud-based database platforms such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL Database (a plus)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent Communication Skills
