JOB TITLE: Fabrication Test Engineering

PAY RATE: $30/hour

Summary:

• The Test Engineering department designs and fabricates equipment used in the development and manufacture of tactical hardware.

• Seeking early-career individuals to fabricate electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies (and sub-assemblies) to Engineering drawings.

• Daily activities include working in a fast-paced fabrication environment and using computer-based programs to update job status Quality Inspections and Engineering changes.

• Place and solder components on circuit cards and sub-assemblies.

• Fabricate wiring harnesses including connector pinning de-pinning and applying mounting hardware.

• Assemble lower-level assemblies into single or multi-bay cabinet assemblies for delivery to Engineering or Manufacturing Production areas.

• Work as an individual contributor and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Collaborate with Engineers and Fabrication team members including other Fabricators Draftsmen Procurement and Quality Inspectors.

• Commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week with occasional overtime as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (Bachelors degree not required).

• 3 years of experience in fabrication environments such as cable and harness SMT board fabrication or maintenance of military design products.

• Certification in soldering and harness capability to MIL-STD requirements.

• Experience fabricating electrical equipment from blueprints schematics and engineering guides.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting issues to management and engineers.

• Proficiency with software tools and Microsoft products.

• Self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
