Job Summary

Job Title: SAP Basis Consultant

Location: Austin TX (Day 1 Onsite)

Required key skills

Accountable for BTP landscape management availability and performance of all systems.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for BTP landscapes configurations and procedures.
Coordinate with different teams in installation maintenance and upgrades of systems.
Support SAP systems throughout the lifecycle of projects from time to time.
Plan and execute system upgrades and apply patches as necessary to keep systems up-to-date and secure.
Involve in proactive monitoring and performance tuning of HANA Cloud and BTP applications using tools like SAP Cloud ALM SAP Focus run and SAP BTP Cockpit.
Administer and optimize HANA Cloud DB instances including upgrade backups recovery scaling and monitoring.
Have a complete understanding of the SAP HANA on-premise and cloud environment.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Investigate and resolve BTP issues including root cause analysis and preventive measures.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve system performance scalability and reliability.
Collaborate with Project Managers Operations team and service providers - Drive for continuous improvement as a team member
