Job Summary
This is a pure freight forwarding operations role. You will be trained to handle air cargo documentation work inside our cargo management systems and coordinate closely with customers airlines and internal teams to keep shipments moving on time.
This role may occasionally require coordination with overseas teams outside regular office hours including weekends based on cargo timelines. If you are good with this and want to learn real cargo operations work read on :
What Youll Do
- Work daily on our cargo management system to:
Create and manage air cargo bookings
Update shipment data (weights volumes routing cut-offs)
Learn and handle freight forwarding documentation including:
MAWB / HAWB preparation support
Shipment readiness checks and documentation follow-ups
Coordinate closely with:
Airline Capacity Control Team for space allocations and cut-offs
Customers for shipment details documents and timelines
Sales & Marketing to ensure what is sold can be executed
Support the Senior Cargo Operations Manager in daily execution follow-ups and issue resolution
Maintain accuracy structure and discipline cargo operations leave no room for guesswork
What Youll Be Trained On
- End-to-end air export freight forwarding workflow
- Cargo booking airline coordination and cut-off management
- Documentation discipline and customer communication
- Using systems Excel and AI tools to manage operations efficiently
Skills & Qualifications
Required
- Comfortable working inside software systems and cargo management systems; quick to learn new tools and follow structured processes
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline (MAWB/HAWB support shipment readiness checks accurate data entry)
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication; able to chase documents and coordinate with customers and airlines
- Ability to manage multiple shipments meet cut-offs and correct data errors before they become problems
- Comfortable using AI tools to draft and refine customer emails follow-ups and escalation notes
- Organized methodical and able to work under pressure with a strong sense of ownership
Preferred (Nice-to-have)
- Prior exposure to freight forwarding air cargo or logistics operations
- Experience with common cargo systems (e.g. NGEN CargoWise Cargospot Unisys or similar)
- Familiarity with airline capacity control AWB handling customs/documentation processes
- Experience creating operational trackers reports or dashboards (Excel pivot tables basic reporting)
- Customer-facing experience or prior coordination with sales/marketing teams
