Background Information:
Seeking a senior specialized IT consultant to help the advancement of its and nbsp;current data management practices. This project to and nbsp;support the and nbsp;utilization and nbsp;of and nbsp;tools (e.g. and nbsp;informatica) and and nbsp;develop an implementation approach for and nbsp;metadata management and nbsp;at Ontario Health (OH). Additionally this project will and nbsp;assess the connections between any recommended implementation approach/tools with and nbsp;the development of an updated and nbsp;OIDs/URIs and nbsp;database (Object Identifiers and nbsp;Database). and nbsp;Outputs from this project include improving data quality and consistency supporting interoperability enabling effective data governance facilitating collaboration and driving strategic decision-making.
Must haves:
- Experience working across cross-functional teamsincluding clinical product and development stakeholders. and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;
- Experience in developing processes and procedures for implementing deliverables related to metadata management.
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles concepts policies and practices.

Responsibilities:
- Working in collaboration with cross-functional teamsincluding clinical product and development stakeholders to advance the development of a and nbsp;Digital Health Data Dictionary (DHDD).
- Provide strategic guidance to support the implementation of a metadata management tool proof of concept.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent strategic thinking facilitation and communication skills including ability to translate complex concepts into plain-language visuals or briefings.
- Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems used throughout the province of Ontario.

- Over the duration of engagement the data modelling resource will be responsible for the following key deliverables:
- Support the advancement of an and nbsp;OH data roadmap of the EHR include envisioning a and nbsp;Digital Health Data Dictionary (DHDD) of which the foundations of metadata management tooling and and nbsp;OIDs/URIs and nbsp;database updates are key inputs. and nbsp;
- Advance the implementation of tooling in metadata management at OH.
Knowledge Transfer Details:
- The resource will ensure full knowledge transfer is provided to the Ontario Health team before end of engagement. Some of this might occur at the end of the engagement but will also be shared as information is obtained/consolidated. Key deliverables will be shared with team.
- The resource must provide all related documentation as part of knowledge transfer protocol. Documents will be reviewed by the appropriate leads and signed off by manager/director.
- The resource will work collaboratively with the Ontario Health team throughout the assignment and ensure key deliverables milestones and documentation are shared.
- A walkthrough of any demos development etc. will be required before the end of the engagement.
