- The Transportation Aide and Patient Lift Team Member works individually and/or in a team of no less than two.
- Performs and assists with transportation and/or patient lifts and other patient handling maneuvers as delegated by the Manager or Director in collaboration with a Registered Nurse
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
- Healthcare experience as a Transporter Certified Nursing Assistant Patient Support Tech Emergency Medical Tech etc.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Understanding of patient focused care.
- Relationship skills.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication.
- Ability to critically think work semi-independently multi-task and work under pressure.
- Ability to demonstrate competence in body mechanics and proper lifting technique.
- Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must have the ability to walk climb/descend stairs push pull bend squat and kneel without restrictions.
- Must be able to lift push and pull a minimum of 75 lbs.
