Estimated Weekly Pay: $1875$2250

Shift Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist I to support a high-volume orthopaedic outpatient practice. This role is responsible for performing accurate high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations with minimal supervision while maintaining strict adherence to patient safety and imaging standards.
The technologist will primarily work at the North Bergen location with occasional floating to a nearby site based on staffing needs or patient volume.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations using proper positioning immobilization devices and technical factors
Safely operate radiographic equipment for routine and specialized imaging procedures
Minimize radiation exposure through appropriate collimation and shielding techniques
Perform portable X-ray examinations in patient rooms operating rooms and emergency settings as required
Accurately identify label and document patient images including correct patient information and laterality
Process exposed X-ray films using approved processing methods
Complete and maintain patient requisitions and required documentation
Maintain a clean organized and safe radiology work environment
Prepare radiopaque contrast media and assist providers with administration when necessary
Assist patients with mobility positioning and transfers to ensure comfort and safety
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling patient instructions filing and record maintenance
Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse patient populations including age language cultural and physical needs
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients families and clinical staff
Adhere to all departmental policies safety protocols and organizational competencies
Meet physical demands including prolonged standing and lifting or pushing as required
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
Completion of required clinical training with ARRT eligibility
Active New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License (required)
Ability to meet National Registry (ARRT) requirements and successfully pass the examination
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an orthopaedic or outpatient imaging setting
Bilingual in Spanish (preferred not required)
Experience floating between clinical locations
