The Waterloo Catholic District School Board with a total student population of 38000 provides services to students in 52 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12) across the Waterloo Region.

General Description of Duties:

Ensure the safety and security of students during the lunch period.

Minimum Requirements:

18 years of age or over;
Canadian citizen with Social Insurance Number or valid work permit to be eligible to work in Canada

Desirable Assets:

Experience working with children
Willingness to assume a wide variety of duties;
Ability to communicate in a sensitive courteous manner with students parents staff and the general public;
Ability to work as a team player;
Current First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.

Salary Range: $28.11 $29.51 per hour Level 2(Compensation Grid effective September 1 2025)

Location: Canadian Martyrs Catholic Elementary School Kitchener ON.

Hours of Work : 1 hour per day 5 hours per week Monday - Friday

11:55 am12:55 pm

Effective Date: As soon as possible

Duration: Starting immediately until approximately January 30 2026 with possibility of an extension. After this assignment ends you would be placed onto the Lunch Hour Supervisor supply list.

Weeks/Year: Approx. 41 weeks/year (September June)
