The Role
As the US Emergencies Fellowyoullbe integral to our work in helping vulnerable children achieve a brighter future. You willsupport theUS EmergencyResponseTeam as they create and enact new standard operating procedures and ways of working. The Fellow will primarily support knowledge management and operational processes for the emergency response team. There may be an opportunity to provide operational and reporting support to a response depending on the response portfolio at the time of the internship

- Knowledge management support including drafting key documents updating SharePoint and providing updated information to key colleagues across the organization
- Reporting support including drafting report narratives for donors and supporting requests from our Partnerships & Philanthropy department
- Professional development including learning about domestic emergency response as well as tools for humanitarian response both domestically and internationally
Requiredqualifications for the role
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams both internally and externally
- Commitment to fostering andmaintainingandenvironment of diversity inclusion and belonging
- Interest and experience in the Humanitarian sector and/or Child Protectionâ
- Professionalproficiencyin MS Office suiteâ
- Professionalproficiencyin spoken and written English
Preferredqualificationsâfor the role
- Interest and experience in domestic emergenciesâ
