Job Description

Deskside Support Services (Smart Eyes & Hands Support)

  • Manage incidents raised by authorized users and escalated by the Service Desk covering all IT services including those provided by third-party vendors.

  • Resolve incidents within prescribed SLA timelines; escalate appropriately when required.

  • Manage service requests in line with Service Fulfilment and Change Management processes.

  • Communicate clearly with authorized users in English or the local language using terminology consistent with Grab standards.

  • Schedule and perform software distributions to minimize user disruption when remote deployment is unsuccessful.

  • Perform asset refresh activities.

  • Handle commissioning and collection of IT assets during employee onboarding and offboarding following approved Grab processes.

  • Provision devices for new joiners to ensure Day 1 readiness.

  • Provide break/fix support technical advice and user assistance.

  • Replace faulty components and conduct post-replacement testing.

  • Configure hardware and system settings; provide printer support.

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and maintenance providers as needed.

  • Support equipment replacement by performing data backup restoration and migration to new devices.

  • Receive and validate IMAC (Install Move Add Change) service requests for accuracy and proper authorization.

  • Perform or oversee installations de-installations cascades moves adds and changes for all EUC equipment and software at designated Grab sites.

  • Create and document IMAC processes for software and hardware components and obtain customer approval.

  • 24 years of relevant IT Desktop / Deskside Support experience
