Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join the Operations team of Livorno Plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficient operation of the warehouse ensuring timely receipt storage and preparation of kits of finished goods. The role involves managing inventory supervising staff and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards. The candidate will be responsible for a team of around 35 operators.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight: Manage inbound and outbound shipments ensuring timely and accurate delivery while optimizing workflow for maximum efficiency and implementing standard operating procedures.
Team Leadership: Supervise warehouse operators including shift organization training and performance feedback.
Safety: Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental regulations during everyday operating tasks. The execution of periodic safety inspections is also required.
Inventory Management: Audit and report inventory levels; conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits to maintain accuracy.
Technology & Reporting: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and production control software.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelors degree in Logistics or a related field is preferred.
Experience:Minimum of 3 years of working experience in coordination of a warehouse.
Skills:
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Proficiency in SAP and WMS.
Knowledge of inventory control techniques.
Compliance awareness (D.L. 81/2008 and local safety standards).
