This position is for Monday-Thursday 4X10 second shift schedule
As a Inspector you will support Missile Assembly & Integration production in Courtland Alabama.
Your responsibilities will include:
Inspecting products/materials to validate the workmanship dimensions and ensure documentation conforms to the product requirements.
Performing acceptance or rejections and generate non-conforming documentation (Q-Notes) for hardware that does not meet product specifications or requirements
Performing inspection and handling of Hazardous materials/chemicals
Performing inspection and handling of Ordinance material
Support other areas of Quality as required
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge of SAP software / database or other ERP software/database systems
Knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation
Demonstrated ability to comprehend and interpret drawings work instructions schematics and specifications / standards
Basic Computer/ Microsoft Office skills experience
Effective written and communication skills
Can work independently/self-motivated
Experience working successfully in a team environment
Able to work Monday-Thursday 4X10 second shift schedule
Desired Skills:
Highly Proficient in SAP or other ERP software/database
VECAMS / AF experience
Proficient using calibrated inspection equipment to validate dimensions or features
Experience working in various assembly areas and/or previous Inspection/QA experience
Experience working in a Aerospace/Defense or related Manufacturing environment
Missile Assembly and Integration experience
Program start up/development experience
ASQ certified Inspector
GD&T experience
Security Clearance Statement:This position requires a government security clearance you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
