The Trust Officer is a client facing relationship manager for assigned accounts. The Trust Officer will use a team approach to serve clients estate administration approve and facilitate trust and other account distributions conduct administrative reviews participate in client and trust officer meetings prepare reports as required. The Trust Officer will collaborate with the Investment Officer to provide optimum service to our clients.
Basic Qualifications
Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent required; B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study preferred; specialized trust education and training.
Skill(s): Proficient reading writing grammar and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations communicative and sales skills; a thorough knowledge of current trust regulations; proficient PC skills; visual and auditory skills; valid drivers license.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience in a related position required.
General Responsibilities
Responsible for providing trust estate and asset management services to customers of the Trust & Investment Division consistent with the needs of the customer and established sales objectives; achieving customer service goals as part of the Banks business objectives; complying with operating policies and procedures established for the trust function; communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports.
