Position Overview:

Bishop Blanchet High School is seeking a Freshman Football Linebacker Coach for the 2026-2027 season. Applicants with previous coaching experience at the HS level 21 years or older possessing a valid Washington State drivers license and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification are preferred. This position reports to the Athletic Director.

Freshman Football is a Fall season runs from August 24 - November 14.

Responsibilities will include:

• Compliance with all Bishop Blanchet HS Metro League and WIAA policies and procedures.

• Supervision of student-athletes during all team activities:

  • Practice and game times vary throughout the week. Coaches need to be available between the hours of 3-10pm (Monday-Saturday).

• Effective communication with players coaching colleagues and parents

• Promotion of sportsmanship camaraderie and fair play among team members

• Developing players within a unified V/JV/Fr system

• Teaching the rules of the game and technique to improve player development

• Summer Activities and Camp participation is recommended with the job.

Compensation:

Stipend: $2250
This is a seasonal stipended volunteer role and is not benefit eligible.
