Job Summary
The NOC Engineer - L1 role requires a professional with 3+ years of experience in a NOC environment, possessing strong knowledge in handling NOC monitoring tools and ITSM ticketing systems. The ideal candidate should have the ability to quickly categorize alerts, define incident priorities, troubleshoot without Internet access, and maintain SLA response times. Strong communication skills and the capability to work independently with cross-functional teams are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recognize port numbers, IP ranges, subnets, and server device alarms
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Build and maintain SOPs regularly
- Initiate and drive Management Information (MI)
- Generate reports and perform analytics
Requirements:
- ITIL certification is mandatory
- Minimum CCNA/CCNP certification is required
