TheStudent AccountsBusinessAnalystwill serve asprimary contact forreportinginthe Office of Student Accountsfor internal and external constituents. The successful candidate willensurecompliance with federal stateand institutional policies whilemaintainingStudent Accountsrecords with accuracy and best practices in mind.This positionworks to support the overall goals and mission of the Office of Student Accounts and Stevens Institute of Technologywhich ensures student centricity and excellence in all we do.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision oftheDirector of Student AccountsSystems and Reportingsupport the comprehensivedailyoperations of the Office ofStudent Accountsby providing meaningfulandforward-thinkingreports.
Take the lead onWorkday Studentreporting and integrationsincluding data source andbusinessobject knowledge and complex calculated field creationwith deep knowledge of current functionality design concepts touchpointswithinStudent.
Work with functional staff toupdatedocumentation and coordinate training initiatives to ensureoptimalusageofall systems.
Assistin theaudit and review ofStudent Accountssystems and third-party integrations toaddress error reports ensuredataintegrityand make optimizations where possible.
Collaborate withappropriateUniversitydepartments to communicate and resolve matters related toStudentAccountsdatareportsand integrations.
Process all requests for scheduled and on-demand student financial reports for the Office of Student Accounts and other stakeholders.
Monitor theStudent AccountsWorkdayreportinventory and integrations.
Understand the billing deliverablesfor all programsincluding traditional corporate and other programs to ensureaccuratereporting.
Document system usage configuration decisions accessmanagementand reporting set up.
Evening and occasional weekend hoursas.
Completes other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
A minimum of abachelors degreeor5 years ofrelevantexperience is;aMastersdegree preferred
Experience developing reports and dashboards with business intelligence products.
In-depth knowledge of WorkdayStudent preferred
Previousexperience inStudent Accounts FinancialAidor other administrative officesin a higher education environment preferred
Exceptional analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handlenumeroustasks assign priorities and handle confidential information
