American StructurepointsRoad Groupis seeking candidates to join us for our Co-op program in Indianapolis IN!As a Road Co-op youll work as part of a close-knit team onroadway projects for INDOT cities towns and counties throughout Indiana. Most of your work will take place in the office withoccasional site visits as you assist with quantity takeoffs create construction plan sets using MicroStation OpenRoads Designer (ORD) prepare design documentation and develop construction cost estimates. From large interstate and interchange projects to urban reconstructions rural maintenance and roundabouts youll gainhands-on experience across a wide variety of impactful transportation projects.

Responsibilities

What youll do:

  • Contribute to roadway design by working on design calculations roadway layouts drainage analysis plan production and quantity and cost estimates

  • Gain hands-on experience with 3D modeling and work with tools like MicroStation/GEOPAK Bluebeam Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint

  • Get involved in a wide variety ofprojectseverything from roundabouts and urban streets to rural roads drainage improvements and large interstate projects

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Student majoring in Civil Engineering Construction Engineering Transportation Hydraulics or a related program with a focus on Civil Engineering

  • Reliable transportation to and from the office

  • Strong workethic eagerness to learn willingness to take on new challenges and a collaborative mindset
