EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting a skilledCNC Grinderto join a precision engineering company located inNorth Nottingham working permanently.

Please note due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into all candidatesmust be UK residents; we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Whats on offer:

• Stability / Longevity: Permanent

• Hourly Rate: Circa 17 per hour

• Hours:

  • Days: Monday to Friday with an early finish on Friday!

• Benefits:

  • Overtime is available at premium rates (x1.5 after 39 hours and x2 on Sundays)

Your responsibilities include:

• As a CNC Grinder the successful individual will be setting and operating CNC Cylindrical Grinding machines using Fanuc controls.
  You will be working with state-of-the-art modern machinery in a busy and challenging environment
  

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

• Previous CNC Grinding experience - Cylindrical

• Experience using Jones and Shipman Ultramats Kellenberger or Okomoto experience would be preferable.

• Ability to set and operate CNC Grinding machines using Fanuc controls

• Confident performing multiple setups per day

• Worked on small to medium-sized components

• Adhered to high standards and tight tolerances

• Capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Work well on their own or within a team
