Job Summary
Urgent Hiring: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (Night Shift)
Location: Queens NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 7:30 PM 8:00 AM
Local Pay: $2897.50 per week
Job Overview
We are urgently seekingexperienced and compassionate Travel ICU Registered Nurses to support a Med/Surg ICU/CCU during a period of increased patient census. This role is ideal for critical care nurses who are confident working night shifts and possess strong skills in conscious sedation and IV insertion.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a Med/Surg ICU/CCU environment
Monitor patient conditions and accurately document vital signs and clinical changes
Administer conscious sedation and closely monitor patients pre- intra- and post-procedure
Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy as required
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans
Ensure compliance with hospital policies safety standards and best practices
Required Experience
Critical Care: Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience
Conscious Sedation: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience
IV Insertion & Phlebotomy: Minimum of 2 years of experience
Education & Licensure
Education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Licensure: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
Verification: Primary Source Verification via NYSED
Certifications (Required)
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
