The Customer Service Associate (Dispatcher) serves as the primary point of contact between supply chain operations external customers and internal sales teams. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day communication resolving service issues and ensuring timely and accurate delivery coordination. The position requires strong problem-solving skills the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment and flexibility to cover varying shifts as needed.
Serve as the primary liaison between supply chain operations and assigned external customers
Monitor and analyze incoming communications (primarily email) and ensure timely resolution
Manage and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners
Utilize multiple dispatch tracking and scheduling systems to support operations and resolve issues
Maintain working knowledge of internal policies procedures and software applications
Understand external customer structures processes and service requirements
Identify cost-effective and efficient solutions to meet customer and operational needs
Proactively resolve issues impacting deliveries and service performance
Ensure accurate coordination and communication to support on-time product delivery
Experience using dispatch transportation management and scheduling systems preferred including internal and external platforms used to support logistics and delivery operations.
Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience in transportation logistics or a related field
13 years of relevant business customer service logistics or transportation experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage a high volume of email communication
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude with strong organizational and negotiation skills
