The Opportunity
The Faculty of Arts is seeking a Senior Research Partnerships Officer to drive high-quality research development and strategic partnership growth strengthening the Facultys diverse research portfolio. This position plays a key role in advancing funding opportunities fostering meaningful external collaborations and supporting the Facultys commitment to sustained research excellence and industry engagement.
In this role you will provide end-to-end support for research development activities including guiding the preparation of competitive funding proposals and coordinating internal grant schemes. You will identify emerging funding opportunities build and maintain external partnerships develop high-quality promotional materials and deliver targeted training. The position also contributes to continuous process improvements and ensures compliance across funded programs.
As the successful candidate you will bring strong strategic and innovative problem-solving skills using sound analysis and judgment to navigate complex environments. You will be experienced in interpreting detailed information to produce accurate research budgets plans and funding proposals and confident in crafting compelling audience-focused submissions and briefs. Your ability to develop high-quality narratives marketing materials and reports for external stakeholders including government will be matched by excellent communication presentation and relationship-building skills across research industry and government settings. You will demonstrate persuasive negotiation capabilities work effectively with internal stakeholders in both cross-functional teams and autonomous settings and display the agility needed to deliver high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
