Job Summary
The CHRO will report directly to the CEO and partner with the executive team to align people strategy with business growth. You will be responsible for transforming the HR function from an administrative cost center into a strategic driver of revenue and retention.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
Strategic Growth and amp; Workforce Planning: Develop a multi-year talent strategy that supports the companys expansion and identifies critical skill gaps.
Talent Acquisition and amp; Employer Branding: Design and execute a modern recruiting engine to attract top-tier talent in a competitive market.
Performance and amp; Culture Architecture: Define the companys values and build performance management systems that reward high-impact work.
Total Rewards Strategy: Oversee competitive compensation and benefits packages that balance financial discipline with market-leading attraction.
Leadership Development: Implement succession planning and coach current managers to become the next generation of executives.
Compliance and amp; Risk Management: Ensure the organization remains fully compliant with federal state and local labor laws as it scales.
HR Technology: Select and optimize the HRIS and digital tool stack to streamline onboarding payroll and employee data analytics.
Required Skills and amp; Qualifications
Experience: 1015 years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (VP or Director).
Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to understand P and amp;L financial modeling and how human capital impacts the bottom line.
Education: Bachelors degree in HR or Business is required; an MBA or Masters in Organizational Development is highly preferred.
Certifications: SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred.
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
Environment: Experience in a high-growth mid-sized enterprise ($10M$100M revenue range) is a major plus.
