Schedule: Full-Time Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Compensation: $30.34 $41.50/hr (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus & Relocation: Determined on a case-by-case basis

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality patient-centered respiratory care in an acute care hospital setting. This role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures managing invasive and non-invasive ventilation and supporting emergent and critical care needs. The Respiratory Therapist is a key member of the interdisciplinary care team ensuring safe and effective respiratory support for both adult and pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and document comprehensive respiratory assessments including breath sounds airway patency and cuff pressure.
Perform diagnostic procedures to evaluate patient respiratory needs and response to therapy.
Administer respiratory treatments including oxygen delivery aerosolized medications and chest physiotherapy.
Assist with artificial airway placement and manage mechanical ventilation.
Monitor patient response to therapy and intervene in case of adverse reactions.
Safely transport ventilator-dependent patients as needed.
Respond to emergencies maintaining airway integrity and ventilation during resuscitation.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with departmental clinical and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Respiratory Care.
Active Florida RRT/RCP license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
Strong clinical judgment and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
