Job Summary

Health and Safety Advisor

Were seeking a motivated Health and Safety Advisor to support a major Capital Delivery team across a range of construction and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently guide project teams influence behaviour and uphold high safety standards in a fast-moving multi-site environment.

What youll be doing:

Providing expert health and safety advice to project and site teams
Supporting compliance with legislation and industry best practice
Conducting site inspections audits and hazard management activities
Leading incident investigations and identifying corrective actions
Offering technical guidance on CDM temporary works excavations hazardous substances and site set-up
Coaching and mentoring managers and supervisors to build safety capability
Helping to drive a positive proactive safety culture across capital projects

What were looking for:

Experience in a construction or capital delivery health and safety role
Strong working knowledge of CDM 2015
NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 6) and CertIOSH (CMIOSH/CFIOSH desirable)
Excellent communication skills with confidence engaging contractors project managers and senior leaders
Ability to influence behavioural change and manage safety across multiple sites
Full UK driving licence required
