For the Investment Manager:
- Analyze financial data and assist with preparing management financial statement reports
- Monitor evolving SEC regulations and help with the implementation of new rules and disclosure requirements
- Collaborate with the accounting team in accounts payable payment runs and expense classification
For the Investment Funds:
- Overseemonthly investmentreporting cash forecasting anddevelopment of internal control processes
- Own the reporting of financial statements including the annual audit process & mark-to-market valuations
- Oversee and manage all fund activity including capital calls distributions and investor reporting
- Provide technical accounting and tax guidance related to complex fund structures and investment vehicles
- Lead coordination and review of annual tax filings and compliance in partnership with external tax provider(s)
- Assistwith cash management monitoring credit lines and various other cash forecasting requirements
- Supportinvestor requests such as fund performance metrics and special projects as they arise
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree and Masters degree in accounting finance economics business or other related majors
- A minimum of 10 years experience in public accounting fund/investment accounting or equivalent work with a proven history of increasing job responsibility and supervision skills
- CPA strongly preferred
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP partnership accounting SEC fund compliance and investment vehicle tax structures
- Proven track record of successfully managing third-party service providers (fund admins tax auditors and other providers)
- Dedicated work ethic commitment to enhancing the team curiosity and problem-solving skills
