TITLE: Electrical Controls Tech I or II
SHIFT: Day Shift (7:00am - 7:00pm on a 2-2-3 rotation)

As an Electrical Controls Technician I or II at Iatric Manufacturing Solutions you will provide critical electrical support to keep our manufacturing systems running efficiently.
Electrical Controls Technician I candidates will focus on programming and troubleshooting PLCs diagnosing electrical issues and supporting daily operations and project work.
Electrical Controls Technician II candidates will take on advanced responsibilities including leading complex troubleshooting programming across multiple platforms and driving improvements to optimize system performance.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Electrical Controls Technician I
Work safely and follow facility guidelines
Provide daily electrical/process support to Operations and HPOT teams
Troubleshoot electrical systems circuits motors drives and PLCs
Support continuous improvement of converting processes and equipment
Assist with equipment documentation and procurement needs
Implement repairs including program modifications when required
Maintain flexibility to support downtime or backup shift coverage
Demonstrate commitment to Rockline/Iatrics RRITE Values and teamwork
Electrical Controls Technician II Includes all Tech I accountabilities plus:
Modify existing logic and programming as projects require
Tune modify and install new manufacturing equipment
Lead advanced troubleshooting and provide technical expertise for electrical controls
This position is designated as Safety-Sensitive (A safety-sensitive position is one in which the associates inability or impaired ability to perform their job-related tasks could result in a direct threat to the associates safety or the safety of others).
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.)
Electrical Controls Technician I
Associates degree or industrial maintenance certification in Electronics Technology 2âyear electronics training program or equivalent
1 years of experience with automation and controls equipment (AB Control Logix and at least one other platform)
Basic understanding of PLC ladder logic HMI and Vision system programming
Knowledge of robotic programming 24VDC systems and ability to make minor control modifications (timers counters constants) preferred
Electrical Controls Technician II
AS in Electronics Technology 2âyear electronics training program or equivalent
3 years of experience with automation and controls equipment (AB Control Logix and at least one other platform)
Strong understanding of PLC ladder logic HMI and Vision system programming
Knowledge of robotic programming 24VDC systems and ability to make minor control modifications (timers counters constants) preferred

- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

- Work environment includes occasional noise >85db hot and cold temperatures and some fumes/odors.
- Ability to work on ladders and at heights required for the installation of equipment.
- Requires ability to read write calculate interact socially and reason.
- Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color vision.
