Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Biller to be part of our Patient Financial Services team in Sylva NC

What Youll Do:
The Biller will perform all duties necessary to file claims from across the company monitor those claims and collect on the claims with the appropriate insurer or party. Responsibilities include:
- Bill claims with the appropriate insurer.
- Monitor and correct unpaid claims.
- Post insurer payments in the E.H.R system.
- Post electronic payments for various Blue Ridge Health departments.
- Support other PFS areas and functions as needed.
What Were Looking For:
- Familiarity with Medical Terminology and ICD-10 coding. CPC certification strongly preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 5 years experience in medical billing required
- Familiarity with utilizing Microsoft office products (i.e. word excel)
- Familiarity with utilizing multi-line phone systems copier scanner fax and other office equipment.
