As a Senior Fabric Data Engineer youll architect and deliver advanced data solutions that unlock strategic insight and lift health outcomes. Youll build resilient Microsoft Fabric pipelines and API integrations to unify data from multiple systems automate workflows and enable timely datadriven decisions. Partnering with clinical and business stakeholders youll lead technical design translate requirements into scalable solutions and embed clinical quality indicators and system metrics into our analytics. Youll be at the heart of transforming data into impact. Building powerful Microsoft Fabric pipelines crafting seamless API integrations and delivering dynamic dashboards that tell a story. Youll lead design sessions that turn ideas into solutions champion smarter processes and ensure every project meets the highest standards of governance and cultural integrity. Qualifications :
Ōu wheako ōu mātauranga hoki - Qualifications and experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science Statistics Data Science Health Science or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in a data-focused role ideally within the health sector or equivalent complex environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing data architectures pipelines and integrations with a focus on supporting health outcomes and process improvement.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Fabric pipelines API integration development Power BI Power Automate and related analytics platforms.
- Experience with programming languages and tools such as PySpark SQL and automation scripts.
- Strong understanding of data governance ethics and privacy regulations including the Health Information Privacy Code.
- Track record of successfully drawing actionable insights from diverse datasets and driving continuous improvement in both operational and clinical contexts.
- Experience in leading technical design meetings and translating business and clinical requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills able to engage with technical clinical and non-technical audiences.
Ōu āheitanga ōu pūkenga hoki - Skills and competence
- High proficiency with Excel and modern reporting/analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI Fabric Google Analytics Snowflake Databricks).
- Hands-on experience with PySpark SQL RESTful APIs KQL and automation tools such as Power Automate.
- Deep technical understanding of ETL/ELT processes API architecture and pipeline orchestration.
- Ability to critically assess data quality and validity of reports with strong data intuition.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a focus on innovative and actionable solutions.
- Comfortable working under pressure managing competing priorities and adapting in dynamic environments.
- Outstanding communication and facilitation skills able to engage with technical and non-technical audiences and lead design meetings.
- Demonstrates sound judgement ethical integrity and a commitment to continuous professional growth.
