The Associate will work as part of the Corporate Real Estate team providing legal advice and support to a diverse range of clients on real estate transactions and related matters. The role involves drafting negotiating and reviewing documentation as well as supporting senior lawyers and partners on complex transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a broad range of real estate matters including acquisitions disposals leasing and property development
- Draft review and negotiate contracts leases and other legal documents
- Conduct due diligence and assist with transaction management
- Liaise with clients counterparties and other stakeholders
- Support senior lawyers and partners in the management of large-scale transactions
- Keep up to date with relevant legal developments and market trends
- Assist with business development initiatives and client relationship management
Qualifications :
- Qualified to practise as a solicitor in Australia
- 24 years post-qualification experience in corporate real estate law
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience in handling real estate transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
