Job Summary

Transformation Delivery Practice within KPMG delivers expert project and program management services and have involved in some of Australias key transformation programs.

Our National Transformation Delivery Team is growing to meet an increasing demand from a wide range of industries dedicated to working with our clients as they are facing an unprecedented rate of change presenting them with new challenges and great opportunity. We help organisations design plan lead deliver and assure complex pieces of work. We also provide real-time and prospective trusted advice to our clients for the life of major programs/projects. This is an exciting and interesting service as we support major programs/projects across the nation in navigating the challenges associated with delivering complex transformation programs.

Your opportunity 

Our Transformation Change team in Consulting is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Perth Office. Our Transformation Group helps clients that belong to a wide range of sectors industries and geographies navigate unique business transformation journeys. The Service Group provides support from the earliest stages of a project or program with capabilities that include business case justification planning structuring and assembling the right team and approach to successfully manage and embed change across transformational projects or programs. 

As a Senior Consultant in our Transformational change team you will support and consult on projects and will be exposed to a range of different industries and sectors. Please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Drive meaningful change across a variety of industries by tailoring approaches to organisational context culture and maturity.
  • Assess and understand the impacts of the change (process people tech policy) and the broader environment for change (dependencies readiness capacity).
  • Identify change and people risks and define mitigation strategies controls and contingency plans.
  • Measure readiness through stakeholder analysis change impact assessments surveys pulse checks and adoption metrics.
  • Design and deliver solutions that support organizational change; incorporating the use of behavioural change methods and frameworks and can concisely communicate 
  • Design and create actionable deliverables that support understanding across the organization and stakeholders; managing resistance to change and help ensure people readiness (change strategy roadmap communications plan training plan stakeholder engagement plan and adoption dashboards)
  • Deliver tactical change activities such as comms drafting briefing packs training materials floor-walking and reinforcement actions.
  • Facilitate workshops to align teams and accelerate outcomes.
  • Engage stakeholders and impacted teamsbuild trust influence decision-making and equip leaders to sponsor and sustain change.

Your Experience 

  • Strong understanding of change management principles methodologies and leading practices with previous experience with large scale organizational change efforts
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and effectively manage relationships with stakeholders senior management and staff working independently or as part of a team; demonstrated ability and a proven track record of success in delivering client services in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Two - three years of recent relevant work experience related to Change Management Organizational Development or Human Resource Consulting
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university advantageous
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate guide and mentor teams to achieve high performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Agility and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
