Our team is embedded within the Infrastructure Asset & Places group and is differentiated by our experience across all aspects of the energy infrastructure life cycle and connected with KPMGs global decarbonisation hub.
Your Opportunity
Forming part of the Energy Transition team the Director position will play a key role in building our Energy opportunities in the market and helping shape and lead our amazing team by:
- Bringing your market brand and energy industry experiences to identify and build opportunities.
- Simplifying and shaping complex client and market situations into simple and succinct strategies.
- Providing strategic commercial and financial advice for our Energy clients.
- Bringing your demonstrated leadership skills and ability to build and nurture a positive collaborative team culture.
This role is part of a national team of energy infrastructure commercial advisors who work alongside KPMGs engineers economists and other infrastructure specialists. There are Director opportunities within our Brisbane and Melbourne team.
How are you extraordinary
- You wish to be part of significant deals and opportunities that solve for net zero emissions.
- You have extensive experience developing business cases and feasibility studies to support investment / commercial decisions.
- You are passionate in supporting clients with developing and implementing energy policy such as renewable energy zones transmission and distribution networks CER/DER standalone power systems clean fuels energy storage.
- You bring a strong understanding of (or passion for) new and emerging value propositions in the energy sector (such as electric vehicles clean fuels solar & storage).
You want to help solve some of Australias most significant energy transition climate change decarbonisation or net zero emissions challenges and you are looking for a team focussed and dedicated to these challenges.

Qualifications :
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering Commerce Economics Law or other relevant subjects.
