Job Summary
Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
- Consistently offers professional engaging and friendly service
- Must answer the radio call within 3 attempts(when a radio is assigned)
- To complete all guest related service requests within 30 minutes
- Complete all non-guest related work order requests as scheduled in a professional and timely manner taking care to clean up completely after work is done and/or request Housekeeping support
- To assist with all duties in the Engineering Department including all aspect of mechanical repairs electrical work and painting.
- To assist the Engineering Supervisor in day to day duties
- Must be able to keep a detailed log book
- Ongoing dedication to exceptional guest service both to internal and external guests
- To carry out all work in a safe manner following all guidelines as outlined in the Health & Safety Program

Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions:
- Previous Engineering experience in a large hotel preferred
- Must work well without supervision
- Previous experience in hotel operations including guest service experience an asset
Physical Demands
This position requires:
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Must be able to stand walk climb bend and stoop
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pound
- Lifting and carrying
- Frequent kneeling pushing pulling sitting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
