The team of the The Ritz-Carlton Vienna is looking for a Lady or Gentlemen for the position:

Host / Hostess Breakfast (full-time or part-time) - starting March 2026

At The Ritz-Carlton we create unforgettable dining experiences through gracious service refined surroundings and attention to every detail. As the Host/Hostess of our breakfast restaurant you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests setting the tone for a warm welcoming and elegant dining experience each morning. You will ensure each guest is greeted promptly seated comfortably and attended to with genuine hospitality that reflects The Ritz-Carltons legendary service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival using guest names whenever possible
• Manage and coordinate reservations and walk-in seating to optimize guest satisfaction and dining flow
• Escort guests to their tables presenting menus and introducing them to their server
• Maintain an accurate waitlist and provide realistic wait time estimates with courtesy and professionalism
• Handle guest concerns or complaints with poise and professionalism
• Support restaurant operations during peak periods including assisting with to-go orders or table resets when needed

Your Qualifications:

• Proven experience in restaurant or food & beverage management within luxury hospitality ideally with breakfast or fine dining service
• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
• A genuine passion for guest satisfaction and service excellence
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with early-morning operations
• Deep understanding of luxury dining standards and attention to detail

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a guest service role preferred; luxury hospitality experience a plus
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a polished and professional demeanor
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability and flexibility to work early morning shifts weekends and holidays as required
• A passion for hospitality a genuine smile and a dedication to exceeding guest expectations are essential

The statutory gross minimum remuneration for this position based on full-time employment is 2.02600 per month. A higher salary may be offered depending on your qualifications and experience.
