Description

Clark College is currently accepting applications for a full-time 12-month exempt Business Analyst position in the Information Technology (IT) Services department. This position is expected to work in-person with the possibility of one day remote. The Business Analyst bridges IT and business facilitates communication between IT and business partners determines requirements and delivers data-driven recommendations to the Vice President (VP) of IT and stakeholders. This role involves understanding business needs analyzing systems and processes and collaborating with various departments to enhance efficiency and productivity through technology solutions.

Position Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate clear communication between IT and business stakeholders.
  • Understand stakeholders needs and document detailed requirements.
  • Act as liaison between college faculty and IT vendors regarding IT software accessibility.
  • Practice Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II policy and maintain policy requirements.
  • Responsible for acting as Accessibility Coordinator for the institution.
  • Identify trends issues and opportunities for improvement and communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and enhance business processes and systems.
  • Collaborate to design and implement technology solutions.
  • Drive projects from inception to completion ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Develop test plans conduct testing and validate solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including requirements specifications process flows and user guides.
  • Provide end-user training and support for new systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with Director and cross-functional teams to ensure changes are effective.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration or related field OR Associate degree AND two (2) years of experience in a related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager.
  • Trusted Tester Certification for Web through the Trusted Tester for Web Certification Program from DHS or obtain by the time of hire.
  • Proficient in business analysis tools data analytics tools software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative; detail-oriented; experienced in managing complex relationships.
  • Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically culturally and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.

SALARY/BENEFITS:

Salary Range:$86668-$100353 annually(commensurate with qualifications and experience).

Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases.
