Surface Experts is a rapidly growing franchise system with new franchises joining our system each month. We care about our people and want them to love where they work and who they work with. As our system grows were looking for a business-minded Franchise Business Coach based on the East Coast to work directly with franchise owners challenge their thinking and drive meaningful business results.
Job Summary
The Franchise Business Coach is a key partner to franchise owners and a primary connection to Surface Experts HQ. This role is focused on improving performance driving accountability and helping owners execute against clear business priorities. Youll work closely with franchisees to strengthen sales profitability operations and team performance while ensuring alignment with brand standards.
This is not a reactive support role. Its a hands-on coaching position centered on execution follow-through and results.
Job Responsibilities
Coach franchise owners to improve financial performance sales growth and operational execution
Use KPIs and financials to assess performance identify gaps and drive action
Hold franchisees accountable to goals commitments and brand standards
Support owners across core business areas including sales staffing training retention and goal setting
Help franchisees consistently implement Surface Experts systems and processes
Ensure franchisee compliance with brand standards and address issues when needed
Identify trends across the system and share insights with senior leadership
Facilitate collaboration and sharing of best practices across franchisees
Problem-solve alongside owners and identify practical scalable solutions
Job Requirements
5 years of experience in franchise operations small business ownership or multi-unit management
Direct experience working within a franchise system (corporate field support or franchisee side)
Strong business and financial acumen
Proven experience coaching advising or leading others to measurable results
Ability to evaluate performance prioritize issues and drive accountability
Strong relationship and communication skills including the ability to have tough conversations when needed

Compensation: $90000$100000 base salary plus bonus potential

Youre comfortable in a growing system and energized by helping bring clarity structure and consistency as the brand scales.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to communicate orally. Hearing and vision within normal ranges with or without an assisted hearing device.
No heavy lifting is expected though occasional exertion of up to 25 lbs. of force may be required.
The position is full-time and remote.
The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional office setting. Extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer and phone are normal.
