A bit about the role
This role willbe responsible forensuring that all changes have the relevant level of authority and have been approvedby budget holders prior to making changes.
Processing leavers will also be part of this roles responsibility ensuring tis is completein a timely mannerdealing with any payroll related implications such as holiday balances that need to be paid or deducted.
Team Description
The People Teamsmain roleis to enable Allwynto deliver its life changing do this by making sure we have the right structure talent capabilitiescultureand rewards in place to attract manage this on our own which means we partner closely with teams across the business to help them succeed.
The teamis responsible formaintainingand tracking employee data viathe HRIS People XD payroll management and supporting People related queries.
Whatyoullbe doing
Assistwithday to dayoperation of People functions andduties providing admin support to the People team and wider company. This includesmaintainingelectronicemployee records processingdocumentationand preparing documents relating to personnel activities and payroll dealing with employee requests.
This role will be heavily involved with processing all Employee changes though employee lifecycleactivityincluding:
- Fixed term contract extensions
- Secondment starts extend and end
- Allowance start end changes
- Promotions and lateral moves
- Change of hours following successful flexible working requests
What experience were looking for
- Goodfoundationalunderstanding of HRadministration including joinersmoversand leavers processes.
- Previousexperience ofusingHR systems
- Ability to use Microsoft Officeapplications
- Ability to use judgement whenadvisingthe business onappropriate actionsincluding knowing when to escalate a query to more senior management for support.
- Manages themselves effectively to get things done and can work on multiple activities at once toaccomplishobjectives
- Awareness and demonstrable experience of handling sensitive personal information
- Excellent communication skills both in writing and face to face
- Uses time effectively and efficiently to manage a broad range of activities.
- Good attention to detail.
