Job Summary
Urgent Hiring: ICU Registered Nurse (Night Shift)
Location: Queens NY
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night 7:30 PM 8:00 AM
Local Pay: $2415 per week
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to support a Med/Surg ICU/CCU during a period of increased patient census. This role is ideal for confident critical care nurses skilled in conscious sedation and IV insertion who thrive in fast-paced night-shift environments.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients in a Med/Surg ICU/CCU
Monitor patient status and accurately document vital signs and assessments
Administer conscious sedation and oversee patients pre- intra- and post-procedure
Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy as required
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on individualized care plans
Ensure compliance with hospital policies safety protocols and best practices
Required Experience
ICU/Critical Care: Minimum 2 years of recent experience
Conscious Sedation: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience
IV Insertion & Phlebotomy: Minimum 2 years of experience
Education & Licensure
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
License: Active New York State RN license
Verification: NYSED Primary Source Verification
Required Certifications
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
