MEDICAL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
We are seeking a professional and proactive Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for managing patient communications and ensuring smooth coordination of appointments within a medical office setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication multitasking and organizational skills along with a customer-first mindset.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Communication and Scheduling
- Operate multiple telephone lines to manage incoming and outgoing calls.
- Confirm and re-schedule new patient and follow-up appointments.
- Verify and update patient information within the EMR system.
Administrative Support
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a customer service role (medical office experience a plus but not required).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong typing and keyboarding skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Resourceful and proactive in handling issues as they arise.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing duties.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit for extended hours while performing desk-based tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment
