Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead hands-on electrical and automation projects in the manufacturing and entertainment industries. This is a fully technical role responsible for designing control systems from concept to commissioning including PLC programming electrical panels hardware selection and system integration. You will work directly with cross-functional teams vendors and on-site staff to ensure safe reliable and efficient automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement control systems from scratch: hardware software and network components
Develop PLC programs (Ladder Logic Structured Text; Rockwell/Allen-Bradley Siemens preferred)
Design electrical panels perform power calculations and ensure code compliance
Troubleshoot startup and commission complex industrial automation systems
Collaborate with engineers designers and technicians for seamless system integration
Support safety-critical design redundant mitigations and system reliability
Create detailed documentation: schematics panel drawings software configuration and test plans

Qualifications:

810 years of Controls / Automation Engineering experience
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field with direct controls experience
Strong PLC programming skills and hands-on experience with industrial automation hardware and I/O
Experience with system troubleshooting startup and commissioning
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software for electrical/control design
Knowledge of safety standards SIL/PL concepts and regulated environments is a plus
