Position Summary

Essential Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for patients
Perform admissions daily rounds and discharge planning
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in the hospital setting
Coordinate care with specialists nursing staff case managers and support teams
Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation
Participate in patient safety programs hospital committees and quality initiatives
Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Eligible for Connecticut state medical licensure
Prior hospitalist experience preferred; fresh graduates encouraged to apply
Strong clinical decision-making and teamwork skills
