Job Description:

At Regions the Retail Operations Manager (ROM) performs an independent quality assurance role in support of risk and operational controls in an average of 25 branches. ROMs assess risk knowledge and performance via the branch visit process and partner with central groups to provide oversight support coaching and training for the geographies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assists branches with complex operational and service issues
  • Reviews branch processes and procedures
  • Inspects branches via the branch visit process to check for compliance with control risk and security procedures
  • Coaches and provides guidance to branch associates to address any operational knowledge gaps
  • Serves as liaison to central support units and business group partners
  • Works with the Branch Resolution Team when needed to ensure timely responses to complaints
  • Delivers Branch Manager risk management onboarding and training
  • Meets monthly with Consumer Banking Managers to discuss Branch Risk and Control Assessment findings and issues
  • Often meets less clearly defined demands and may influence junior colleagues
  • May act as a mentor junior staff

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two(2) years of experience in managing a team
  • Five (5) years of branch operational experience
  • Ability to travel frequently

Skills and Competencies

  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Good Problem-solving skills capabilities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable of branch processes policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook etc.)
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation

This position may be filled at a higher level based on experience.

This position is based in the Metro Atlanta area.

  • Travel to branches within the district is expected approximately 6070% of the time.

  • A presence in branches at 8:00 AM opening time is required at least three days per week to conduct structured coaching cash counts and retail soundness/audit activities.

  • Travel to assigned branches may involve commutes of up to three hours and could require overnight stays.

  • A high degree of flexibility is essential as coverage may occasionally be required outside your assigned territory.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience skills knowledge contribution job location and most importantly performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$65509.50 USD
