Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: Days 7:00am7:30pm
Schedule Requirements: Every other weekend and holiday rotation; 2 on-call shifts per 4-week schedule
Float Requirement: ICU ER Med/Surg MST (must be comfortable floating)
Licensure:
Active New York State RN license (required)
Education & Experience:
BSN required
Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg Telemetry and/or Critical Care
Critical care experience required
Required Certifications (AHA or RQI only):
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Post-Hire Requirements:
Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire
CPI certification within 90 days of hire
Preferred Certifications:
Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) certification within 2 years
TNCC within 2 years
Skills & Competencies:
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication organization and teamwork skills
Maintains confidentiality and professionalism
Computer literacy required; EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred
Patient Population:
Provides age-appropriate care to pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patients
Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles and appropriate patient assessment
Shift: Days 7:00am7:30pm
